Valley Fog

October 31, 2016  •  4 Comments

These first couple shots you can tell are panorama - off the Iphone.  I wanted to try to show you how thick the fog was down in the valleys once it receded from the top of the pass.    We found a dirt logging/fire road we were able to get over on and that is also where we did lunch later in the day so te dogs (we had 4 with us) could stretch their legs outside of the park (no pets allowed in the park).

I thought it was super cool how the fog was sitting down in this valley giving us not a clue what was actually down there.  Will show you "after" shots in later post.    The frost still on the trees is an indication that the sun had not been out long either.

I can say that as always, getting really good photos of lots of glaciers and mountains in one day is challenging, just because of the shadows.  But a fun challenge none the less.

Gorgeous views of the mountains. I love the fog and the white trees.

Wow! Those are gorgeous! Probably look great as B&W's, too.
