Finch Fiasco
Some more shots from the feeders last week when it was so cold! Why I didn't think of using the shepherds hooks and branches to hang the feeders before I don't know but I do like it and it is so nice to sit in my office and look out the window and watch all the action. I was able to get these while standing on the deck only about 10 feet away. The first one is a favorite though.

Hi There, We have TONS of finches here now also---mostly Goldfinches... I love the House Finches (or are they Purple Finches???)... Not sure what the one is with yellow on it.. It's not a Goldfinch... Maybe it's a Pine Siskin.... OR--maybe it's a special one from Montana that we don't have.....
Love all of your photos. It's been very cold here too--but is finally warming up some.
