A Quick Pause

Before I start publishing a ton of photos I took on a recent road trip. First I wanted to share a couple local shots I took on the way into town in the dense fog on Saturday morning. I was really surprised to see this bird and more than a bit worried about stopping along the highway to snap a shot knowing that other cars might not see me. The others were taken on the road home. I love frost on barbed wire but wondered if I could get some on smooth wire. The last is a little hint at the photos from my upcoming posts.

Dear Friend, Just stopping by to say HI. Hope you are having a good December so far. This will be a very different kind of Christmas for George and me this year. But—all in all, we are both enjoying being together and sharing our love with each other. What more can we ask for!!!!

Other than a post today, I won't be blogging much until I start feeling better and get this knee/leg taken care of... I will try to at least read your posts (even if I don't comment)... I will however be posting off and on on Facebook (since it's so simple) if you want to check there when possible.

Definitely be careful stopping for birds - I absolutely understand the process!

Your frost images are magical, not something I see any more though I grew up with Jack Frost making patterns on my bedroom window.
