I have returned from my business trip to New Mexico and have spent 2 days processing photos from the trip. The entire trip went smoothly and I was so happy to be able to meet with my fellow coworkers and bosses this past week. What a wonderful group of fun people. Everyone was so very nice and very helpful.
So I took an extra couple of days on the front of my business meetings and work to see some sights around the Albuquerque area and I am so glad I did. I'm going to be sharing those with you for a while and hope you enjoy a Montana view into New Mexico. This was my first trip to that state and I enjoyed it a great deal and already have places I want to go back to see.
On Sunday I decided to go to the Albuquerque Bio Park and Zoo. What amazing facilities and in my opinion a steal at $20 to get in and see all of them (I ran out of time and energy though). My plan was to park at the botanical gardens/aquarium then ride the narrow gauge train between that and the zoo. I really didn't think I'd spend much time at the zoo and really wasn't interested in the aquarium. So much to see that I missed a lot more than that but still got tons of photos.
Today I'm going to just introduce you to the Railroad Garden where there is an incredible model railroad set up and 3 boxes on the fence where the kids (or kids at heart) can start up 3 different trains. Then there is the conductor area where the "big boys" drive the main trains. Sit back and enjoy and the very last shot is of our trip on the narrow gauge train to the zoo.
