Old Town Albuquerque

August 29, 2014  •  1 Comment

Once my coworkers arrived from MT we had plans that one of the two nights we had free we were going to go to Old Town in Albuquerque to have dinner and wander around.   A little shopping for a road runner for Don's little girl and whatever for Peggy and me.    My boss recommended a FABULOUS restaraunt called High Noon Saloon for dinner and it was amazing!  Great food, resonable prices and wonderful staff.

I will say right now I adored Old Town and it felt so much more like what I expected an Old Town NM to be.   Many shops and alleys and cafes and all that we saw anyway were well kept and beautiful.

So here is my attempt to share some of those lovely spaces (and yes we found the road runner statue for Don's daughter and in honor of that I've put the photos of a couple of the hotel's honorary mascots at the end).

So much color and character, sure looks like an interesting place.
