Because life is short and I honestly am tired of having to upload all of my photos twice and then edit them in blogger in order to keep them from being swiped (okay and blogger being just a general pain in the butt sometimes)....I've decided to try the Zenfolio (where I host all of my photos anyway) blogging option to see how I like it. That way I upload my photos once and then can blog them as I go AND have direct access for you all to my Zenfolio photo galleries (okay inspired by Brian King).
A couple navigation items of note - there is a menu bar at the top that will let you pop between my blog, my portfolio and a page that contains all of the blog links you used to see in my reading list on blogger. Also, comments are at the bottom but will no longer require you to sign into wordpress or blogger - just type in your info. There is also an RSS feed button at the bottom of the page. New "Facebook Like" button is up top too (sorry twitter and pintarest aren't my thing).
So here goes - I haven't been totally lax on the camera lately and knew the hummingbirds would be coming through on the migration right before I left on my business trip. My goal - clear photos and hoping for ones NOT on the feeders but on actual flowers. I lucked out even with the evening clouds I managed to get my camera set so that it would get a good shot. Actually I managed 3! :-)
I will be futzing around with layouts in this new blog so don't get too excited if things look different every time you visit!
