Happy September!

I have a friend that said she loves fall for the slower pace and I can't agree more.  I feel like this summer was just a whirlwind and that I didn't stop and enjoy it nearly enough.   This fall I hope to slow it down and enjoy things more by getting some items knocked off the "to do" list one at a time but also making time to enjoy the things I love.

One thing we didn't do nearly enough (we being my Mom and I) was just sit on the deck with the camera and the dogs and goof off.  We finally took one afternoon and did that before it got cold again.  As the garden is also winding down I have just a few lovely blooms to practice on.  These are the chives.

Then there is the never ending source of entertainment in this pack of mutts of mine.

I also had this amazing surprise one weekend morning as I took the dogs out front.  Across the road in the still standing old snag in the neighbors pasture I was surprised to see this lovely.

So as fall has begun (at least in my world) I am also likely to slow down on the blog posts some.   I love sharing with you all but I also love being out there doing photos and spending time with my dogs and my Mom and well, also trying to get some of those "to do" items done.   I am going to always do my best for a couple posts a week (when there is news) so I don't bore you all to tears!

I was really taken by the shot of your dog looking right at the camera. You can just see life in those eyes! I am hoping for a slowdown here also. I do cherish these days. Amazing eagle shots!

really nice shots.

(fyi, if you're unable to change your blogger i.d. to include a direct link to this blogsite, you should at least change the address in the last post you did on blogger to be a link so folks can click and find you easier. :))

I love Fall---but it's a busy season for us (due to raking/blowing leaves).. Winter is our slow-down time. That's when I have time to work on my Family History...

We are having a HOT week --after a fairly mild summer. Guess Mother Nature is telling us that Summer is NOT over here yet... ha....

Great photos... Love the Eagle --but also love the pictures of your Furry Babies.
Hugs,
Betsy
