The Grain Elevator

September 15, 2014  •  4 Comments

My Mom and I spotted this grain elevator on our way through a small Montana town during a Sunday drive.  I really liked the impact of it with a black and white and vintage color effects better than  full on color and of course it was mid afternoon so not the coolest light but still.  A central point of most Midwestern towns these lovely buildings are quickly disappearing.   We decided this one was still used for something as there was a large shiny new white garage door in the back.

HI Sherry, What a neat piece of history to feature. Kinda sad to see businesses of the past disappear. I saw a big factory all abandoned one day when we were driving through a small town... In fact, most of the town was now gone also... Sad!

Hugs,
Betsy
