The Road Less Traveled

September 22, 2014  •  6 Comments

This was a a road I'd travel down with snow and ice or if it was really muddy - at least not the last portion where we dead ended at the entrance to the trails for the back country.  Not sure if you got in that you'd get out (places when dry almost needed 4WD),  but we saw a bit of snow and I kid you not, found the cleanest vault toilet facility I have ever seen in my life (and I've seen a lot)!   Of course we made good use of it before heading out and after getting the requisite "posed" shot of the pups!

See the light green on the mountains in the above photo - those trees will all be golden here in a few more weeks.

And now the pups (Teddy absolutely hates posing as you can tell - but 3 out of 4 is pretty darned good).

Wow...the back road country is a piece of heaven.

And your pups posing with such a backdrop like the Rockies...just perfect in every way.

I have always liked that part of the State. I used to pass through it on the way to Jackson Hole Wyoming in the early 70's for some of the best skiing ever. Great shots!

You are so brave...I don't know if I would or could drive the roads you do by yourself! I love that last photo!
