Freezing Fog Macros

January 14, 2015  •  11 Comments

We have had serious fog here the last 2 days!  No fun to drive in - it was a long haul to work in the dark and fog this morning - since you can't see tail lights and often can't see headlights.   However Tuesday I worked from home and watched the magical frost from the fog develop on everything outside.  So went out and got some photos as close as I could of the cool crystal formations and the flocking on the trees.   I'm over it now, I want to see the sun and 30 degrees the rest of the state is seeing (we have fog due to a stubborn inversion).

What exquisite images! They make me think cold weather wouldn't be all bad.

Absolutely fabulous shots of the ice crystals. The fog and cold has to have something going for it. Makes good subject matter. Hope it clears soon. Stay safe.

Inversions are beautiful...but, LIke you Say, okay...that's enough, time to bring on the sun!
