Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Stuff

Fall is in full swing here and the colors are lovely where we have them.  Many colors (you all can educate me) were basically turn yellow, brown and fall off the trees and I think that is just because it is so dry!   The amazingly weird weather continues and fires continue to burn (although it seems they have lost the headlines).    Thank goodness we aren't in smoke but we have had a couple days where I could smell it.    We are supposed to have 2 days of 80s!  I know, that is just wrong in October but I won't let them go to waste and will be getting my pre-winter chores finished while I can (can you say winterize the trailer?).

So I have a bunch of fall ipone shots for you from one of our walk breaks at the office and they didn't turn out half bad.   We do have some really cool areas around town I must admit and the falling leaves sure make it smell like fall.    As for the squirrel, I discovered this bold not-so-little bugger begs peanuts off my old coworkers and he was pretty disappointed that I had none but I still got to get a couple shots of him.   Said coworkers however were not far behind us and he did get his treat.

There was a special meter painting project that went on this spring and I just realized that I need to find out where some of the other meters ended up and go get photos of them!

My Mom made it home to AZ safely and thanks to those that have inquired.   We miss her mucho much but know that the days we had with highs in the 40s would have made her freeze.    So the dogs, parrot and I are trying to get our after summer groove back on.    Some work on agility type things out front with the poodles as well as cart work for Sterling.  Of course these nice days have been great for getting some fetch time in up in the Back40.     So here are just some misc. home photos to share with you.    I'm super busy as always am especially in the fall but this is one of my favorite seasons.....

How fun to meet your bird! As always I loved the shots. The wood ivy is always stunning this time of year, the rest of the time it's a pain. Your dogs are darling!
