Birds, Bees and Blooms

...from my front yard (I love having my office facing out that way!).  Saw the first meadowlark here in the valley last Saturday singing his heart out.  Have heard the sandhill cranes down at the lake and I can't tell you how much I adore hearing the finches in the morning out in my front trees!   Makes me smile!  Oh and the past couple of days about 100 snow geese have been feeding down at the lake too!

You have bees and crocus and a turning color Goldfinch! Spring is finding you! Those orange birds are beautiful...I have not seen them before. :)

It has been way too many years since I've seen a crossbill. Thanks for the treat.

Crocuses! I haven't seen crocuses for many years, they used to grow beneath an ornamental cherry tree in my garden when I was a child. They have brought back many strong memories, thank you!

Oh how I love to hear the birds sing again after a long, quiet winter. Just this morning we started to hear the little chickadees and Carolina Wren's singing, even though snow is predicted this afternoon.....enough already old man winter!
