I am so freakin' far behind in blog posts and I sincerely apologize and hope that a little Spring will help!    I have a number of things blooming right now and thought I would share them as everything comes and goes so fast (and let's face it I'm just sometimes too busy to notice).   We are full throttle into watering mode as we've not had nor do I expect a drop of rain while it as been very warm.    I think only about 5 tulips heeded my warnings and are actually blooming.   Will mark those and the rest are going to get dug up and tossed.   My daffies are very happy - or at least some are and OMG the iris out back.   I transplanted 75 iris 2 summers ago from a friend who has amazing luck growing them.   I decided they would be perfect for helping fill in the bald spots on the nasty back yard slope.   Only a couple bloomed last year but looking out there today I am going to have a sea of purple here this year and I couldn't be happier!   So here is some mishmash of garden/yard shots, oh with a weed thrown in because hey - it is part of the yard.   Very happy with a number of these!
