Boardman Marina & RV Park, Oregon

Right off I'm giving this place a 5+ stars and don't you all go running to get there!   This lovely campground is situated right on the Columbia River iin Oregon and I'm so glad I found it.   They are a Good Sam campground if that matters, it is clean, manicured, dog friendly, great walking paths, fabulous scenery and many lovely shade trees.   Each spot has a picnic table and mine was spot 15 with full hookups.   The staff was super friendly and my only caution is that some of the back in spots with the river view can be a bit tricky to back into if you are long (I'm about 35 foot all total).    There are big rig spots though and pull thru spots too.   Some of the pull thru spots though may not be level enough for a really long rig though so be sure to ask.

Again, I did not use the "facilities" but did walk the bike path a lot and will say that it is good that the spot I was in was huge as many people will cut through to get to the river.  It wasn't a problem though.

Definitely will go back!    You can get to their website here:  http://boardmanmarinapark.com/    If you are looking for fringe season, be sure to email and then call to make sure your reservation is set - if they haven't gotten your credit card info, you aren't truly reserved.   I stayed going out and coming home and each time there were plenty of spots open for drop ins.

I only took this one shot as I was busy walking dogs and we only stayed one night so you'll have to trust my judgement on this one.  Their layout is on the website and sites 45-55 are closest to the road and the railroad although not many trains went through and there are no crossings so no loud train horns.   Sites on the loops that are even remotely close together are nicely blocked from each other with wood fencing.  Again, plenty of space for everyone.

You can see more photos of the river on my post on the Columbia River.

How fun to have this RV. Didn't know you had one, but definitely fun to travel with, and perfect for your fur friends.
