Butte Creek Falls Hike
The second hike Lori, Harley and the boys and I took thankfully was in a location that was MUCHO easier to get to and had actual real trail! Halleluiah! There is an upper and lower falls in this location and although the lower falls is the larger of the two you can't actually really get TO it (it is the one in the second photo). Always a challenge photographing waterfalls mid day with sun and shadows. Luckily it was a nice fairly easy hike after our trials at Abiqua Falls but it was also busier. I can safely say we felt we'd worked off our calories by the time we were done, we were tired and ready to head back to the campground!

Great shots! I wish we had waterfalls here, but it's too flat here for us to have any decent waterfalls.

Fabulous waterfall shots. Did you use a tripod? It would have been extra to carry on the hike.
