Ladies (and Gentlemen) in Waiting
Hoping to get to see babies this year but one never knows. I have located 2 nest areas by watching where they come out of when I float by. The baby success rate is not very high here due to the super cold waters and the huge variance in water levels. Glad to have a super long lens though so I can zoom in on the nests and see if there are eggs. Not all of the grebes pictured were on nests though - well that I could tell anyway.
