....and all through my house,
Pooped puppies are lounging about!
It has been a busy week and as the blizzard conditions have set in this afternoon and are predicted to last through tomorrow, we are all snugged in with the wood stove burning (okay so it is rather TOO warm in here but oh well, we open a window now and then). Happily I was able to get out this morning and have breakfast with friends in town, return home and dig out the steps to the Back40 so I could play fetch with the poodles for a bit before it got really yucky out. To say they are a bit stir crazy is an understatement. We normally aren't this nuts inside until January!
Not sure I'll be able to dig out the pink poodle till Spring at this rate!
...and the flamingo is ready to fly south!
I am happy however that with the big winds we have had that the Target wreath has held up very well!
To say I am looking forward to 3 days off with nothing planned is also true! Some napping may be in order (burning the wood stove means getting up every 3 hours to feed it), some Christmas cookie eating and well, laundry, shoveling snow, blah blah blah! Oh and have thrown in a little 2017 vacation planning to keep me going through the winter...but more on that later.
I also wanted to share with you a little wildlife viewing from my front deck. I was shocked to see these come by the front fence the other day while I was on a conference call! Luckily I wasn't tethered to the computer so I could snag the camera and get off a couple shots. They weren't slowing down for much.
Glad I got the camera going as I found I had a photo from way back this summer that I'd yet to pull off. BAD PHOTOGRAPHER! So here are some warm baby faces.
So lastly a few phone photos from Sterling and me doing his therapy dog gig last week. It was a fabulous visit and one of his fans on the staff took a shot of the two of us to share.
So on that note, wishing you all a fabulous holiday no matter how you celebrate. May you receive everything you ask for and more. Blessings, peace, love, harmony, joy and all that brings with it!
