....and still busy as a bee.  Work is crazy busy and of course this time of year for me at home is usually a bit nuts as well.   This year even more so as I get back into dog competition which starts well, this weekend.   Add to that the projects and classes and household chores and I barely have time to write in my journal much less get on a blog.   As for photos - the cameras haven't seen the light of day for quite some time but I didn't want you all to go without so phone photos it is!   

Next week is my last calligraphy class and I am so enjoying that outlet.   One of my goals this year was to try to send more actual mail and quit relying so much on the computer.  Everyone likes to get real mail and I kind of miss that meditative thing of writing by hand.  When one is on the computer for 10 hours a day at work typing, it is kind of nice to write for a change.  So here are some samples of my progress.

Meanwhile I spent a good part of this past weekend with the video running of the Crufts dog show in England.   So nice to be able to get on YouTube and watch the entire thing or skip the parts I didn't want to watch.    Since the weather started to turn yucky Saturday evening I turned it on and the dogs hunkered in.   Not until Sunday did any of them pay even a wee bit of attention to the barking (agility and flyball) or anything else till Sterling spotted the dogs doing freestyle.

Go figure!   

The poodles have been working hard as well.  Practicing Rally for competition this weekend, therapy last weekend for Sterling (which meant also bath and grooming) and we are working on agility for competing in a few weeks.   Let the show season begin!  Woohoo!   I will admit to you all though that I actually am finding I'm breaking out in hives a bit from the nerves of it all.  I've not been in the ring now in  almost 2 years so am anxious to get this first one over with!

Meanwhile all the other dogs are doing well.   They just sleep and putter around mostly which is absolutely fine.   Dot of course likes to lay around and be cute as well....

Other than that I've been busy selling one of the kayaks (should have been simple ended up being kind of a pain but it is done).  Decided I just didn't need 2 hanging around.   Bought a new mattress for my bed (only about 10 years after I should have) and am hoping for much more restful sleeping - after allergies are taken into account that is!    Writing, crocheting, training poodles, catching up with friends, planning for summer camp and still cleaning stuff out around the house.    Just keeping on keeping on at this point and yes, there are freaking crocus, lillies and iris coming up in my gardens (which I can't quite uncover yet....too early).
