Garden Lovely

I haven't been anywhere away from home as I heal from a muscle injury so when it isn't raining (or snowing) I did take some photos of the beginning of the bloom season.    My purple iris don't have many full blooms that survived the snow but I did find a few.   The wild iris (or Japanese iris) just started blooming yesterday and my big hybrid iris are budded but not blooming yet.   The daffies are now done for and I had one tulip show its face (I think the tulips are going to all be dug up this year).   My lily of the valley though is going bananas!    We've had some wonderful moisture to help make up for no winter snow but it does make it tough when one wants to get out and about!

So sorry about your muscle injury and hoping it is resolving itself. No fun to have that happen. Your iris shots are gorgeous. Lucky you being in the upcoming beauty of Montana!

What a stunningly beautiful post Sherry! You have captured such detail in the flowers that I've been looking at them, back and forth, for ages.

The one with the snow on the Iris is stunning!
