...the new look? Decided it was time to switch it up and honestly Zenfolio has added some new features that I wanted to try out. So hope I've not complicated your life too badly!
Oh yes and I am happy to announce that after over a year I FINALLY finished (for now) the RV content I've been working on. If you look at the top of the page you will find the link to this blog, Other's Blogs and a new on called My RV Pages which takes you to a drop down menu of single posts (Zenfolio wasn't going to let me put it all in one giant post). Always open to feed back and extra proofreaders! :)
I actually was out this weekend with the camera but first am going to catch you up on some other items before I dive into that trip. Someone had asked about the poodle stake I'd gotten from the lovely Nikki Carter of Iron Horse Metal Art in Fairfield, MT.
I need to get my buns in gear and get the crested photo to her to add to the garden with this. This is NOT a flimsy piece of metal art either and she just posted on her FB (linked above) some super cool work she did out of shovels.
Meanwhile I decided that I wanted to get something special for my Mom who has hung in here with us this past month with sick dogs, me being gone, more sick dogs and now the dry weather (which she is working hard to beat keeping gardens going). I went to see my friend Betsy and her employees at Outside Inn and the minute I drove up I saw in her sale stuff this terra cotta basket and knew that was it. Had them fill it with some amazing succulents and gifted it to her for her deck. She has a store full of THE BEST indoor plants (better quality than the box stores) and I was sad when she said she would be closing in the future. So of course I also found a pot I loved and got the plants for it!
Here is proof what a great job my Mom does keeping the greenery outside alive as well.
Not to mention the ripe raspberries we've been picking and eating! YUMMO!
Hope you all had a great "long" weekend and more to come here soon. Don't forget to check out the RV posts if that stuff interests you.
