Geyser Birds
These two were quite a surprise as we walked up to the lower geyser basin at Mammoth and we heard birds. Took a while to spot them and I was amazed they were playing around at the bottom of the springs. Of course I didn't have the right camera but still was pretty happy with the shots I got. I definitely have a new appreciation for their camouflage.

I am not familiar with this bird, he has stripes all around his head...way cool :)
